Why & How launches new impact division – philanthropy-focussed sector pairs artists with deserving organisations to give back every day.
Artist management and entertainment company WHY&HOW has launched the latest addition to its ever-expanding portfolio of projects, officially announcing WHY&HOW Impact today (2/22). Philanthropy is the heart of WHY&HOW’s mission, the ultimate “why” for a company working across multiple ventures including music, film, television and literary.
With a focus on giving back every day, WHY&HOW Impact pairs each of WHY&HOW’s over two dozen artists with an organization of their choosing, providing aid both monetarily and through volunteered time in the community. Current organizations involved with the initiative include Best Friends Animal Society, CASA, CCK, Cotton Fest Fund, The Independence Fund, Nashville Humane Association, Hungry Heroes, National Fallen Firefighters Foundation, HDEU, No Kid Hungry and Stand Up 4 Health.
“We have built a company with a passion for upholding three core values: family, faith, and philanthropy,” WHY&HOW CEO and Founder Bruce Kalmick shares. “The heart and soul behind this vision allows us to combine our resources and influence to help facilitate a wide variety of philanthropic endeavors for our clients. Just as we can’t preach about being family first and then miss a game, we wanted to realize our desire to give back and brought in Mclane [Rosen] to lead our new Impact division. We all have to find faith in something, and for us it is continuing to make a difference in lives across the world.”
Spearheaded by newly appointed Impact/Event Coordinator Mclane Rosen, WHY&HOW Impact aims to create a ripple effect throughout the music industry and place a new emphasis on giving back. The personalized approach to selecting organizations to work with allows each artist to get involved with a cause they’re truly passionate about, with even more charities to be announced as part of the initiative in the coming months as WHY&HOW Impact continues to facilitate long term philanthropic efforts.
In addition to the organizations paired with each artist, WHY&HOW will choose a charity to focus on each year. For 2022, the company has selected No Kid Hungry, which works to end child hunger in America. Those interested in donating can do so here.
