After a monumental summer, Big Loud Records rising star Larry Fleet marked another career high point with the release of his debut album – Stack of Records. Now, the Destination Country team are proud to premiere the new video today for his track, ‘Three Chords and a Lie’ Live from the Ryman. Watch the video here. The video was recorded when Fleet marked his lifelong dream, debuting at the historic Grand Ole Opry on the 17th September.
A lifetime-in-the-making, Stack of Records was co-written entirely by the Tennessee native himself, the project drops the needle on a charismatic baritone and eclectic fusion of Country, Southern Rock and Soul, with 14 tracks and star-studded collaborations featuring Jon Pardi, Jamey Johnson and Bryan Sutton. Shaped and inspired by the record collection Fleet grew up with, STACK OF RECORDS was produced by chart-topping studio ace Joey Moi and finds a new Country maverick stepping fully into the spotlight.
“To be able to create this music with some of the best songwriters and producer in Nashville is amazing,” says Fleet. “To see our stories come to life is an incredible feeling that I’m sure won’t be going away anytime soon. I want these songs to be like I wrote them for whoever is listening; like they are living it. Every one of these songs tells a story and that’s what I want to come across in my music is the storytelling. If your words touch somebody and change a life, that’s what you want as a songwriter. I’m grateful for the chance to able to do this for a living and hope this is just the start.”
