Anglo-Austrian country rock duo Two Ways Home finally ‘Break the Silence’ with new record
Two Ways Home, the Anglo/Austrian country/rock duo, will release their debut album ‘Break The Silence’ on 28 February 2020. Following five years of hard work, constant gigging and EP releases, the unique united European outfit will finally release their debut album
A collaborative effort made up of Gloucestershire guitarist and vocalist Lewis Fowler and Vienna born vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Isabella Mariee, who’s shared passion for all things Americana drew them together resulting in the creation of Two Ways Home.
Invoking the vulnerable songwriting style of Angus & Julia Stone whilst simultaneously incorporating the soaring harmonies of Mumford & Sons/Lady Antebellum, the pair have been steadily building hype over the past five years with three well-received EP’s in the form of ‘Wood For Trees’, ‘Better Days’ & ‘Closest Stranger’ as well as a spate of recent singles including Speed of Anything, Out on the Road and Prove Me Wrong.
Most recently the pair released their Valentine’s Day anthem for the broken hearted in the form of the aptly named Broken Hearts Club, which opens the album and was featured as Hot Press Magazine’s song of the day.
The idea of ‘Break The Silence’ was born out of an invaluable and awe-inspiring trip the pair took to Nashville in 2013, whereby they experienced the true spirit of Music City, sending them on a whirlwind journey that has seen the pair work extensively on the UK & European tour circuit, including a 35 date partnership with Caffé Nero across the UK. Their extensive touring resulted in the pair gaining legions of fans that were crucial in making ‘Break The Silence’ a reality thanks to successfully supporting the band through their crowd-funding campaign in early 2019 to raise the money to record it.
The result is a debut that will please fans and new listeners alike.
