TRIPLE FRET ENTERTAINMENT: THE UK’S INDEPENDENT COUNTRY MUSIC RECORD LABEL
TRIPLE FRET ENTERTAINMENT ARE PROUD TO ANNOUNCE THE FIRST SELECTION OF ARTISTS ON ROSTER
Announced this week at an exclusive launch event in London in front of industry and media, Triple Fret Entertainment are proud to announce their first selection of Triple Fret artists. The label launch was held in a private event space, The Ballroom at The Dolls House in Islington, in partnership with Two Birds Spirits. On the night, acts on the roster performed three of their original songs in an acoustic showcase. The artists that are signed to the Triple Fret roster reflect the breadth and diversity of the genre, innovating the perception of country music in the UK and showcase as excellent ambassadors of the genre internationally.
TWO WAYS HOME
Hailing from Vienna and Gloucestershire respectively, alt-country/folk duo Two Ways Home are formed of Isabella Mariee and Lewis Fowler. Over the past three years, the duo have gone from strength to strength in the UK country industry, with their debut EP ‘Wood for Trees’ (March 2015), ‘Better Days’ (December 2015) and ‘Closest Stranger’ enjoying radio play on Chris Country, BBC and Amazing Radio, and international touring with artists across the country/Americana spectrum from Phil Vassar to Red Sky July.
The duo’s sound is incredibly unique, reflective of the genre itself bridging the gap between country and Americana. Having co-written with artists such as Logan Brill, Demi Marriner and Adam James, the duo’s songwriting does not just cross international boundaries, but pushes the boundaries of the genre and lyricism. This year, the duo will release their debut album, a project that will showcase the many facets of their musical talent.
