Tim McGraw and Tyler Hubbard will join a legion of other stars tomorrow night on the primetime TV special to celebrate Joe Biden’s inauguration. The singers are expected to sing their new song ‘Undivided’ out now through Big Machine records. Speaking with CBS, Hubbard said that when he heard of the insurrection at the Capitol this month, ‘I thought, ‘Man, I thought we needed this message last year… I didn’t think we could need it anymore than we needed it last year, but apparently we still do.’ McGraw says of the track (also to CBS), ‘the song, it speaks to more of the social contract that we have with each other… It’s not about politics, it’s about how we’re supposed to treat each other.’ The inauguration will certain look different to any other in history, given the continued pandemic and this 90-minute special program following the ceremony will feature remarks by Biden and Harris, as well as performances from the likes of Justin Timberlake, Bruce Springsteen, Demi Lovato and more.
