1. Let It Rain by Clare Bowen
Any fan of the show Nashville should be bursting with excitement for the release of Clare Bowen’s debut album, and if they’re not, one listen to her first single, ‘Let It Rain,’ should make any sceptic think again. Bowen’s haunting vocals that have earned her a great allegiance of fans are left to sing here in a track that is easy to fall in love with.
2. Everything Looks Beautiful by Lucie Silvas
We just can’t get enough of every pre-released track from Silvas’ next album E.G.O., this blues-y track is rich with nostalgia, sweeping us up in a velvety, beautiful love-filled world. Perfect for a Sunday morning, evening and everything in between, trust us, give it a listen.
3. Cinderella by Catherine McGrath
Any fan of McGrath will be familiar with this track before its release, and even a year down the line, this one doesn’t get old, making it one of our favourite tracks off her debut album. Written with the eponymous Liz Rose, famous for ‘Girl Crush,’ and numerous Taylor Swift tracks including ‘Hey Stephen,’ there are elements that clearly are reminiscent of vintage-Taylor, yet this is definitively McGrath, unique, country with an Irish twist, making us feel all the feels.
4. The Edges by Catherine McGrath
McGrath’s earning a double whammy on this list this week, because we just can’t get enough of her debut album, and it’s hard enough to get our favourite tracks down to two. This track, ‘The Edges,’ is already a hit in our eyes, catchy production with gorgeous lyrics, what’s not to love?
5. Every Heart by Kenny Chesney
Any country fan will have been as excited as they come for Chesney’s next album, ‘Songs for the Saints,’ and this track ‘Every Heart,’ is everything we love about Kenny, sweeping, pacy guitar beats, rich Southern twang and relatable, real lyrics. This one doesn’t disappoint.
6. Sunrise, Sunburn, Sunset by Luke Bryan
Not released this week, but Luke Bryan released this gorgeous music video for his new hit single, so it’s making the list. This is our summer soundtrack, all day, everyday and if you haven’t heard it yet, where have you been living?
7. Island Rain by Kenny Chesney
Again, don’t hate us, we couldn’t choose just one, so this tropical-infused track is making our list. This is one of those uplifting tunes that can’t help but lift your mood.
