Spencer Crandall has announced that he will make his Grand Ole Opry debut on 16th September.
Spencer Crandall has announced a huge career milestone – namely that he will make his Grand Ole Opry debut on 16th September, stepping in the coveted circle on the same night as Brad Paisley, Mark Wills, and more. Check out his heartwarming reaction in the candid video of his manager breaking the news to him here.
Over the last few months, Spencer has been releasing new music every other Friday as he gears up to announce his forthcoming project in the coming weeks. Spencer’s song “Didn’t Do” was released on Aug. 12, and broke the record for his biggest release weekend yet, while the already released songs from his to-be-announced project have already garnered over 30M streams. With his social numbers climbing to nearly 3M across platforms, Spencer gears up to take his music to the road heading out on his own headlining tour this fall with Avery Anna are direct support.
Of the achievement, Crandall shares just what it means to step into the circle, ‘The Opry symbolizes years and years of hard work. It symbolizes how far I’ve come. To go from learning to play the guitar in my dorm room and begging neighboring sororities to let me play their tailgate events, to the biggest stage in country music is such a “pinch me” moment. I’ve put my entire heart into creating music that connects with people. Country music has been the soundtrack to my whole life and all of my favorite artists have stepped into that circle. The fact that the Opry would invite me to be a part of this wonderful tradition, symbolizes my impact on the world of country music, for which I care so deeply about. I couldn’t be more honored, humbled and proud to be making my debut.’
