Wyatt McCubbin has dropped his country boot-stomping single ‘Honky Damn Tonk.’ Listen to the track here.
Accomplished songwriter and rising artist Wyatt McCubbin drops the country boot-stomper single “Honky Damn Tonk,” available everywhere now. Co-written with his producer Jonathan Singleton, McCubbin’s bona fide two-stepping anthem “Honky Damn Tonk” marks his artist debut, as he rolls out the first of five releases over the next five weeks.
“‘Honky Damn Tonk’ is exactly what it sounds like. Honky Damn Tonk,” shares McCubbin with a smile. “The goal was to write a country song that people wanted to blow up their speakers with.”
A natural born story-teller with a bleeding heart for country music, McCubbin began writing songs and playing shows at an early age. Influenced not only by country, but by blues and soul, McCubbin set out to create his very own brand of country music. The Selma, OH native moved to Nashville in 2018 and has since had his songs cut by Cody Johnson, Riley Green, Tracy Lawrence, Brent Cobb, John Schneider, Josh Ward, Jake Worthington, Drew Parker and more.
In 2021, McCubbin inked a publishing deal with Music Row powerhouses Tape Room Music and 50 Egg Music. When he’s not writing or recording new music, fans can catch McCubbin on the road opening for Laine Hardy’s Monster Energy Outbreak Tour and he’ll join Midland and Hailey Whitters on the Last Resort Tour later this fall.
