Warner Nashville multi-talent Shy Carter has announced that he will make his Grand Ole Opry debut on 16th April.
Following his performances at C2C, Shy Carter will make his debut at the Grand Ole Opry on April 16, fans can purchase tickets here to catch his milestone performance. Carter was surprised by the news at the recent CMA Songwriters Series appearance at C2C: Country to Country in London, UK, watch as fellow songwriter Caitlyn Smith breaks the exciting news to him onstage.
“I’m so excited to be performing at the Grand Ole Opry. What a surreal moment,” shares Carter. “I’m grateful to the wonderful people at the Opry for embracing me and my music. This opportunity is truly a dream come true and I really can’t believe it’s actually happening! Here we go baby! Woo-hoo!”
Carter first introduced himself with his project ‘The Rest Of Us’ late last year, co-penning all eight songs on the David Garcia-produced EP. First making an openhearted “Good Love” statement of “broad, breezy optimism” according to NPR, before letting loose with a MusicRow-described “barroom banger” called “Beer With My Friends (feat. Cole Swindell and David Lee Murphy),” Carter has already proven his versatility in reaching diverse audiences. Currently in the studio working on new tracks, fresh music is promised this year.
With music festival dates heating up, Carter is next slated to take the stage at Tortuga Music Festival 2022 (4/9) in Fort Lauderdale, FL, Stagecoach Music Festival 2022 (4/30) in Indio, CA, and Headwaters Country Jam 2022 (8/20) in Three Forks, MT. Click here for full show details.
