Reid Haughton has dropped his new heartbreak ballad ‘Break Up Goin’ Down’ out everywhere now, alongside a new music video.
Alabama-raised Reid Haughton has released his brand new single “Break Up Goin’ Down,” available everywhere now. Written and produced by John Morgan (“If I Don’t Love You,” Jason Aldean) and co-written by Haughton and Rob Ricotta, the new single sheds light on the emotions of a breakup in the making, with Haughton admitting, “call it what you want, but the truth is there ain’t no doubt / there’s a break up going down.” The honest breakup ballad is released in conjunction with an all-new music video, out now.
“‘Break Up Goin’ Down’ has been such a long time coming and I’m so excited to finally release it! I got to write this song with two of my favorite guys in town – John Morgan and Rob Ricotta – two guys that have believed in me since my first trips to Nashville, and I’m super excited to get to share this song with them,” shares Haughton. “John actually produced the song as part of a four song project that started back in 2020 with this being the final release. I hope y’all love this song as much as I do!”
Hailing from smalltown Haleyville, Haughton began performing around his college town at Auburn University. After extensively touring the state independently and consistently selling out shows, Haughton has built a strong fanbase throughout the Southeast, moving to Nashville in 2021.
