Ingrid Andress‘ debut album ‘Lady Like’ has become the all-time highest streaming debut album from a female country artist.
The debut album from Ingrid Andress has become the all-time highest streaming debut album from a female country artist, with Paper referring to her as ‘a country pop rookie who can write a chorus like Sia.’ The album has also been confirmed as next week’s Album of the Week on BBC Radio 2. Her debut features the stand-out hit ‘More Hearts Than Mine,’ along with debut single ‘Lady Like’ and new single ‘Life of the Party’ bridging the gap between pop and country in this emotionally driven, heartfelt album.
Andress, who only released her debut single last year, has also been named as the first female country artist to become part of Apple Music’s Up Next program – an initiative geared toward identifying, showcasing and elevating rising talent – making history by becoming the only debuting sole female artist to the Top 20 of the Country Airplay chart.
Andress last year wowed fans at Country 2 Country festival in London, before embarking on a string of sold-out headline shows, including at The Courtyard Theatre in London. Whilst in isolation, Andress has been delighting her fans with a string of livestream dates – more details online.
