A Place To Land is a complicated record. Despite the fact that it does not contain many stand-out and impactful hits, still the record started an era of a more sonically consistent record. It’s a more cliche country record than we would later come to associate with the band, still the record shows the ability for each member of the band to take their turn in the spotlight and allow their vocals to shine.
