UK country duo The Shires have shared their new track ‘Wild Hearts‘ ahead of the release of their new album – 10 Year Plan – on 11th March.
The Shires have released their new single ‘Wild Hearts’ ahead of the release of their upcoming album ‘10 Year Plan.’ ‘Wild Hearts’ finds Crissie Rhodes’ voice channelling the tempestuous emotions of a love that’s simultaneously irresistible and ill-advised, while the song is given a cinematic aura courtesy of Ben Earle’s Morricone-tinged guitar. It’s an anthemic track that will be a worthy addition to their live set on their forthcoming tour, as the duo share, “We can’t wait to get this song into our live set. The energy in ‘Wild Hearts’ is so fun. Get your air guitars ready for this.” Remaining tickets for the tour are available here.
The Shires are joined by a full live band for the ‘Wild Hearts’ performance video, which captures the song’s fiery passion as well as its arena-scaled energy – you can see both Ben and Crissie being wowed by its searing guitar solo. Like the recent ‘I See Stars’ live video, ‘Wild Hearts’ was directed by Jackson Ducasse (Dua Lipa, James Bay, Clean Bandit) and filmed at The Roost in Hackney, London.
