CB30 have shared their new Gen Z breakup anthem – Old Phone – out everywhere now. Listen to the track here.
Buena Vista Records’ CB30 have released their newest song “Old Phone.” Penned by Nick Boyd, Ben Williams and Colin Healy, the song paints a picture of a young man reminiscing over a recent breakup after stumbling upon photos and voicemails on an old phone from the past. The lyrics, When you hung up the phone, you were crying in your mama’s house / You said you didn’t wanna be done but we just weren’t right or working out right now / Ever since that conversation, we went our separate ways and I don’t know where you are, we’re worlds apart / But I’m holding you close using an old phone, emphasize the rush of emotion after seeing the memories they shared.
“I’m so excited for the fans to finally get their hands on this song, says CB30’s Christian Clementi. “They blew it up on social media and Brody and I are just so pumped to get it out there.”
“This is my favorite song of ours that we’ve recorded,” adds Brody Clementi. “I love how our fans are reacting to it on TikTok and can’t wait for them to hear the full song.”
Earlier this year, CB30 released two new singles titled “Healthy” and “Learning Curves.” The duo performed “Learning Curves” on KTLA in August and released their official music video of “Healthy.”
