Kasey Tyndall has announced that her new single ‘Jesus and Joan Jett’ will be released on 11th February. Written alongside Evan Coffman and Greylan James and produced by award-winner Derek Wells, the track continues Tyndall’s ability to combine rock stylings with country lyricism. Originally written in 2015, the song has become a crowd-favorite, prompting hundreds of fans to clamor for the song to be released.
“Kasey is one of those artists that you always hope walks through your door. She knows exactly what she wants to say… what her own, unique perspective is… and she has the skill set as a writer and vocalist to deliver that perspective so authentically,” shares Wells. Doesn’t matter if the song is big and bold or understated and introspective — when she sings, I believe it.”
In May 2021, Tyndall released the stunning track ‘Middle Man,’ which People praised it was “a song that could finally throw Tyndall into the much deserved and much overdue spotlight of country music” and Country Now hailed it was “real-life country storytelling at its finest.” The Greenville, N.C. native has spent the last calendar year touring with Jamey Johnson, Whiskey Myers, Sister Hazel and Drake White, with additional dates to be announced in the coming weeks.
