Brooke Eden Tells Apple Music About Plans To Sing A New Song At Her Wedding…
Hilary has asked me multiple times. Is it, I don’t know, a faux pas to sing at your own wedding? I’m, well, I don’t think so. Do you think so?… So, she’s actually outside walking her dog right now, so I can talk in complete confidentiality, but I’m probably going to surprise her with a song. Hopefully one that she hasn’t heard yet.
Brooke Eden Tells Apple Music About The Playlist She’ll Have At Her Wedding…
We are going to be super stickler with our music. We can’t have the music that plays at every single wedding where people are, “We know what’s coming up next.” So we’re going to be really crazy about making sure that our playlist is like spot on.
Brooke Eden Tells Apple Music That Opening A Show For Garth Brooks Was “OMG All The Way”…
I would probably say when Garth Brooks called and asked me to open for him at a stadium show. There were 70,000 people there, and it was also in the middle of this break that I was taking. I had some health issues that I had to take care of. And so I was in the middle of this break, I didn’t have a single out, I was writing all of these songs and I was, maybe one day I’ll get to play these somewhere. And then Garth Brooks called and was, “Hey, do you want to come open up for me?” And it was also 10 days before, he called me 10 days before the show. So I was just calling musicians and friends that I had played with in the past being like, “Can you play with me, we’re opening up for Garth and we have to learn 45 minutes worth of music in 10 days.” And it was just so crazy. Everything ended up working out so well. And we pulled it off, but, honestly, it was the weirdest thing. I’ve been on a lot of stages. I’ve been singing since I was four years old, literally on stage since I was four years old. And I’ve never felt the way that I felt on that stage. I almost couldn’t breathe all the way. I felt so much energy. A Garth Brooks audience is so intent on being there. And I was on stage and I was having so much fun. And as soon as I got off stage, Hilary was there to meet me at the tunnel where the football players run through, right off the stage. And as soon as I got in the tunnel, out of sight of the audience, I just started bawling, sobbing. It was just the craziest, release of emotions and energy and just like we’re back. So, yeah, that was OMG all the way.
Brooke Eden Tells Apple Music Why She Considers ‘Chief’ By Eric Church The Best Country Album Of All Time…
This album came out the year that I had moved to Nashville and it’s so nostalgic for me and still every single song was so good on it. And it’s ‘Chief’ by Eric Church. It was really the first time that I started thinking about the way that an album sounded, just such a great album, Eric Church, every single song on that record was just so damn good.
