Home Free and Billy Gilman have shared their new music video ‘One Voice’ shining a light on mental health in this breathtaking new video.
Home Free and Billy Gilman have shared a new music video for their track ‘One Voice’ – a poignant and tender new collaboration emphasising the importance of Mental Health Awareness month. All-vocal Country group Home Free and hitmaker Billy Gilman have joined forces for a meaningful cause that shines a light on Mental Health Awareness Month in the video for their powerful new rendition of Gilman’s childhood hit “One Voice” – which is out now via all digital service providers.
Written by Don Cook and David Malloy, the track addresses the inner struggles we all face – and more importantly, the hope that they can be overcome. Released over two decades ago, its message still rings true today, as it calls on help from above and seeks to aid those in rough places find a light at the end of their tunnel – and with the heavenly harmonies Home Free and Gilman produce, that’s a message these artists have always been behind.
“This song is such an important message that still needs to be heard, even 21 years later,” explains Home Free’s tenor Austin Brown. “We couldn’t be more honored to have the opportunity to reinvent it alongside Billy.”
Serving as a breathtaking visual, a chill-inducing video was filmed in Nashville by The Bolo Brothers which captures this sentiment. Making its debut today (5/7), it features a heart-wrenching, and unfortunately, all too familiar story early on, following a young man overwhelmed by his inner struggles – but with Gilman and Brown narrating, “One Voice” is ultimately enough to turn things around.
