Megan Moroney announces upcoming release of her anticipated sophomore album – Am I Okay? – due for release in July
Rising country star, Megan Moroney has announced that her sophomore album – Am I Okay? – will be released on 12th July through Sony Music Nashville/Columbia Records. The record follows the release of her critically acclaimed and much hyped debut album – Lucky – released just last year. Lucky established Moroney as Country’s latest ‘It’ girl and brought her firmly into the spotlight, not least with the release of her single ‘Tennessee Orange’ that earned a legion of fans.
Tomorrow, Moroney will share the track ‘Indifferent’ from the album, following the news that she had surpassed a billion total global streams on all platforms. Am I Okay? finds Moroney sharpening her phenomenal songcraft and sharing even more of her personal story, as she explores the endless ways that heartbreak upends our lives. Produced by her longtime collaborator Kristian Bush — and placing her gorgeously raspy vocal work at the fore, the release is another major leap forward for the singer. Later this year, the singer will return to the UK for a string of tour dates, full info here, with dates in London, Cambridge, Manchester, Bristol and more.
