Carrie Underwood is set to release her gospel album, My Savior on March 26th, following on from the release of her Christmas album My Gift. The record will be released on CD and digital prior to Easter and on vinyl on the 30th April. My Savior is co-produced by David Garcia, who also co-produced her 2018 record Cry Pretty. Alongside the cover art, Underwood also released a video trailer for the record.
My Savior will include covers of traditional gospel hymns that Underwood grew up singing and will act as a companion to her Christmas album My Gift. Of the albums, Underwood says, ‘It’s been such a blessing to make music like this, inspirational music that is near and dear to my heart…These two albums have been on my musical bucket list since the beginning of my career and were planned long before the events of the past year, but somehow it feels like the perfect time to share these beloved songs with the world.’
Pre-orders of My Savior on CD, vinyl and limited-edition T-shirt/CD box set are available here.
