Brothers Osborne have released the deluxe edition of their Grammy-nominated album Skeletons out everywhere today. The record contains new songs ‘Headstone,’ ‘Midnight Rider’s Prayer’ and ‘Younger Me.’
Brothers Osborne have release the deluxe edition of their acclaimed album Skeletons that has earned a plethora of awards, including a nomination for Best Country Album at the upcoming 64th GRAMMY Awards. The deluxe edition includes the new tracks “Headstone,” “Midnight Rider’s Prayer,” and “Younger Me.” “Headstone” is produced by Jay Joyce, while “Midnight Rider’s Prayer” was recorded at John Osborne’s home studio, co-produced by the duo, and with Willie Nelson’s personal blessing uses elements of “On the Road Again.”
The new tracks seek to round out the project, showing increasingly vulnerable layers to the duo’s music and their artistic vision that innovates the duo’s music beyond the brash and bold personalities for which they initially made their name on Pawn Shop. It’s a move that feels deeply organic, natural and necessary – the music they were born to create that combines the boldness of Pawn Shop with a more vulnerable and authentic side.
